PLAN 10 | Planning 10 | 4 |
The Business Education Department offers courses to meet a wide variety of students’ interests. and needs. Information technology, marketing, business computer applications and career planning. These courses provide students with the opportunity to explore future career decisions before graduating from secondary school.
A large number of Notre Dame students who pursue a diploma in technology or a degree in university or college will have to pursue some type of business communications course while in post secondary education. This is not surprising when we consider that most of the jobs for the 21st century require a business or computer background.

Through participation in physical education, students will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to incorporate physical activity into regular routines and leisure pursuits, in order to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle.
PE 8, 9 & 10 courses emphasize fitness, participation and skills through a variety of activities including touch football, volleyball, class runs, soccer, badminton, ultimate disc, basketball, softball, weight training, dance, rugby and wrestling.
PE 11 & 12 places less emphasis on skills, with more weight given to participation and physical activity as a lifestyle. Students participate in many of the activities listed above as well as off-campus activities including bowling, ice skating, skiing/snowboarding, curling, golf, swimming and martial arts.
